Who we are

What we store, and why

• Your account. Your email and a securely hashed password, so you can sign in.
• Your conversations. The messages you send and the assistant’s replies, so it can remember your needs within and across visits and give you better suggestions.
• Your preferences. Size, gender, country and chosen shopping-assistant style, when you provide them, to personalise suggestions.
• Photos you choose to upload. Only ever with your explicit consent, stored privately, used only to improve your own suggestions, and never shared or sold. Photos are optional; Fidesty works fully from a stated size and preferences.
• What the assistant reads from a photo of you. Your eye and hair colour, skin tone, undertone and build, so it can suggest colours and fits that suit you. We keep these until you delete your account, even after the photo itself is deleted.

We use your data only to serve your suggestions. We never sell it, we never share it with anyone for their own purposes, and we do not use it to advertise to you.

How the assistant works, and who processes your data

Fidesty’s shopping assistant is built on AI models run by a commercial AI provider. To answer you, we send your messages, and any photo you upload, to that provider’s API, which processes them outside Switzerland, currently in the United States. The provider acts strictly as our processor: it handles this data only to return the assistant’s reply to us, under its own commercial terms and data-protection agreement, and it does not use your data for its own purposes.

Every visit to Fidesty also passes through Cloudflare, a network company that protects websites from attacks. Your connection is encrypted as far as Cloudflare, which checks it and passes it on to our server, encrypted again. To do that, Cloudflare handles everything you send us, including your messages, any photo you upload and your device’s internet address, on servers that may be outside Switzerland. It acts strictly as our processor, under its data-processing agreement, which covers Swiss and EU data-protection law.

We would rather state this plainly than bury it. If you would prefer the assistant never to see a photo of you, simply don’t upload one. Fidesty works fully from a stated size and your preferences.

How long we keep it

We keep your data until you delete it. We store it for one reason: so the assistant understands you better and gives you suggestions worth having. It is not shared with anyone, and it is never sold.

Deleting is immediate and in your hands: remove a single conversation, delete an uploaded photo, withdraw photo consent (which deletes your photos with it), or delete your whole account. All of it from the app, without asking us.

Your control

• Delete any conversation at any time from the app.
• Delete any uploaded photo from your account page.
• Withdraw photo consent at any time, which deletes your uploaded photos.
• Delete your whole account, and everything in it, from your account page. You do not need to ask us. If you would rather we did it, write to [email protected].

How you buy

Fidesty links you out to retailers (such as Zalando and Manor) to complete a purchase on their own sites. We do not process payments or handle your payment details.
